Step Up,  The Star’s NiE (Newspaper-in-Education), is a 24-page bilingual education pullout with two versions, one with Bahasa Malaysia translation of English words and the other with Chinese translation for primary school pupils from Years 4-6.   It consists of interesting activities and provides a platform for students to submit their exercise for discussion.

The full-coloursyllabus-based pullout is approved by the Ministry of Education (MoE) Malaysia and is published twice a month.

Over 80 schools in Malaysia will be receiving the pullout for the year 2018. Group Managing Director of LBS Bina Group Berhadand Trustees for LBS Foundation, Tan Sri Lim Hock San, presented the mock chequeto Star Media Group Editor-In-Chief, Datuk Leanne Goh during a ceremony that was held at SRJK (C) TunTan Siew Sin on 4 April 2018.
