Gabungan Persatuan-Persatuan Utama Cina Daerah Batu Pahat organised Chinese New Year Aid Program to assist old folks and needy people in the preparation of celebrating Chinese New Year.

The organiser named the opening ceremony after LBS Foundation as a gesture of appreciation to LBS Foundation for contributing RM30,000.

The opening ceremony was officiated by Tan Sri Lim Hock San and the Guest of Honour was Tuan Haji Zulkiflee Bin Haji Abbas. One of the highlights of the event was the parade which involved an approximate of 5000 participants that come from different races and background.
