The Catholic High School Band of PetalingJaya produced a dazzling show like no other at its recent concert, ‘An Evening of Music: IX’. It attracted over 1,150 music lovers from all ages and walks of life. The concert raisedmore than  RM115,000 to fund the Catholic High School Band’s facilities in the hope of nurturing more budding musicians.

This year,  the main sponsor of the concert was LBS Foundation. Speaking on the relevance of music in schools, LBS Foundation Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Board of Governors, Tan Sri Lim Hock San said, “We believe education is the key to unlocking one’s potential. This is why education is one of the main pillars we are championing through the LBS Foundation. We are proud to support the Catholic High School Band as we believe music plays an important role in keeping students engaged, instilling discipline, giving students a sense of belonging and achievement.”
