]]> LBS Foundation with Ajar-Ajar Malaysia and Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) established Pusat Tuisyen Ajar-Ajar Malaysia at M3 Shopping Mall. The free tuition centre was launched by YB Datin Paduka Dr Tan Yee Kew, Member of Parliament for Wangsa Maju on 25 November 2019. On the same day, LBS Foundation, Ajar-Ajar Malaysia and TAR UC signed a Memorandum of Understanding to work together in providing education assistance to underprivileged children at Wangsa Maju area.

]]> LBS Foundation collaborated with MDKS to send 61 students from SK Pasangan and SK Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah to join the Klinik UPSR Didik BH on 3&4 August 2019 at Kompleks Islam Kuala Selangor. The 2 days clinic are conducted to help students in their preparation for upcoming UPSR. LBS Foundation also sponsored 200 exam kits during the clinic . In addition to that, we have invited external speaker, Dr Zamri Mantop, to do a motivational talk to the students and their parents as well.

]]> The Catholic High School Band of PetalingJaya produced a dazzling show like no other at its recent concert, ‘An Evening of Music: IX’. It attracted over 1,150 music lovers from all ages and walks of life. The concert raisedmore than  RM115,000 to fund the Catholic High School Band’s facilities in the hope of nurturing more budding musicians.

This year,  the main sponsor of the concert was LBS Foundation. Speaking on the relevance of music in schools, LBS Foundation Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Board of Governors, Tan Sri Lim Hock San said, “We believe education is the key to unlocking one’s potential. This is why education is one of the main pillars we are championing through the LBS Foundation. We are proud to support the Catholic High School Band as we believe music plays an important role in keeping students engaged, instilling discipline, giving students a sense of belonging and achievement.”
