LBS Foundation committee contribute in gotong royong session to paint and decorate the Ajar Ajar Malaysia Classroom in M3 Shopping Mall. The free tuition centre will be launch by YB Datin Paduka Dr Tan Yee Kew, Member of Parliament for Wangsa Maju on 25 November 2019.

Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation is an organisation that have been conducting series of activities to raise awareness on Down Syndrome and also provide support to the children with the condition at their National Centre, located at Petaling Jaya. Karnival Kuala Selangor

LBS Foundation was invited by Majlis Daerah Kuala Selangor to join the Karnival Kuala Selangor launching at Dataran Malawati. The launching was attended by Tuanku Permaisuri Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin; wife of MB Selangor, Puan Masdiana; and YDP MDKS, Puan Rahilah. YB Ng Sze Han, Pegawai Jawatankuasa Tetap Perumahan was present as well. LBS Foundation has sponsored a wall mural at Dataran Malawati Kuala Selangor.

Seri Setia Old Folks Home

LBS Foundation joined a program organised by the Women’s Federation for World Peace Malaysia, visiting the Sungai Way Old Folks house. There are few activities prepared for the residents including Zumba session, massage, grooming, talent shows and food drinks donation. LBS Foundation donated 120 drinking bottles to the old folks house.

Each year, the first weekend of July is designated World Firefly Day. The 2019 theme – fireflies need dark nights – is about the growing issue of light pollution, both the introduction of overly bright energy-efficient LED streetlights near firefly habitat as well as the encroachment of diffuse skyglow from distant urban areas and highways. LBS Foundation has participated the World Firefly Day 2019 that is held at Kelip-Kelip Kg Kuantan on 6 & 7 July 2019.

Hospice Klang Charity Dinner 2019

“Because of Love” Charity Dinner organised by Persatuan Puak Kuey Tang Keturunan Lim & Super 3 Cafe is a platform to raise awareness for Hospice Klang which provides “palliative care” to the community in Klang and the surrounding district for free. LBS Foundation donated RM10,000 to support this fund raising initiative with the hope more patients in need can get help. The Charity Dinner was officiated by our very own, Tan Sri Lim Hock San.

LBS Foundation joined a program Bersamamu Titik Perpaduan Dihati” Kami Prihatin Peringkat Negeri Selangor 2019 Serta Sambutan Hari Raya Perpaduan Daerah Hulu Langat 2019 organized by Jabatan Perpaduan Negara. LBS Foundation sponsored the repairing works and refurbishment of the old folks dormitory and donated benches for their landscape. The event is officiated by YB Zuraida , Malaysian Housing Minister on 24 June 2019

BS Foundation sponsored the Program Apesiasi Puisi dalam KOMSAS that was held on 21 Jun 2019, 8pm – 10:30pm at SMK Dato’ Haron, Tanjung Karang. This programme is initiated by PUSPANITA Kuala Selangor with the aim to nurture the students’ interest in literature component as well as develop students’ confidence in communication through poetry. The invited speakers are well-known and well-experienced in poetry and literature namely Siso Kopratasa, Mohamad Shahidan and Isnin Tawab. Event photos as below.

LBS Foundation is the Platinum Sponsor of Hospis Malaysia 18th Annual Charity Treasure Hunt, with contribution amount of RM30,000.
This event serves as an important platform to raise awareness on the importance of palliative care.

This year hunt was held in conjunction of Palliative Care Awareness Month, in efforts to inspire patients to speak up about what matters to them when faced with a life-limiting illness.
