LBS Foundation donated RM2,000 to Majlis Perwakilan Penduduk Bandar Saujana Putra during the Program Sumbangan BSP officiated by YAM Tengku Dato’ Muhammad AlHaj bin Tengku Harun, the OBD of Kuala Langat. The donation will be used to help families affected by COVID-19 who are deprived of not only income, but food and other necessities at Bandar Saujana Putra.

LBS Foundation donated to Suriana Welfare Society Malaysia The fund for donation was partly collected during the Abundance Charity Fair held recently in Petaling Jaya.

Donation for Pertubuhan Amal Sosial Masyarakat Penyayang Malaysia (24 November 2020)

LBS Foundation donated RM5000 to Pertubuhan Amal Sosial Masyarakat Penyayang Malaysia, one of the NGO based in Kuala Lumpur where their main focus is to provide essential medical and healthcare equipments for the needy. The fund for donation was partly collected during the Abundance Charity Fair held recently in Petaling Jaya.

The NGO was represented by Mr Veni Jaya during the cheque giving session.

Abundance Charity Program (3 November 2020)

LBS Foundation, together with 4 other organizations manage to collect RM186,000 during the Abundance Charity Event, held in SRJKC Sg Way, Selangor where the donators contributed by the purchasing of coupons. Other than LBS Foundation, the recipient divided into 5 partners which is LBS Foundation, Persatuan Hokkien Sungai Way Selangor, Poh Kong Sdn Bhd, Sogo Plastics and PIBG SRJKC Sungai Way. These organizations will donate the collections to their appointed charity initiatives.

Puan Seri Karen Lim, the patron and the main organizers of this event graced the Cheque Giving Ceremony to several organizations held in LBS HQ, Petaling Jaya.

Charity Concert by Young Musicians (27 September 2020)

Jom Tanam 1000 Bakau – Tree Planting Event (26 September 2020)

LBS Foundation has donated and planted 1,000 mangrove trees at Taman Rekreasi Paya Bakau Sijangkang, Selangor on 26 September 2020. The event was officiated by Yang Di-Pertua Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Langat, YBhg. Dato’ Amirul Azizan bin Abd Rahim. The event is also part of the Selangor – Friends of River – an initiative that conserves and preserves up to 30 rivers in the state by the local communities which was launched by Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor.

In conjunction with World Heart Day on 29 September 2020, LBS Foundation taking a moment to remember and embrace the importance of heart health thus to treasure loved ones and see how the little moments make life a big adventure.
This great initiative was translated into the content sharing contest called ‘LBS World Heart Day Contest’ from 14 – 30 September where the participants need to upload their most heartfelt photo and stand a chance to win gift hampers.

LBSF Charity Car Boot Sale (11 September 2020)

LBS Foundation organized the first Charity Car Boot Sale, held at LBS Function Room. This event received an overwhelming response from staff and among the items sold yesterday includes preloved clothings, arts, tea bags, cookies, snacks, foods and many more. LBS Foundation have collected closed to RM3000 from the coupons selling where 40% from the total sales will be donated to Ajar Ajar Malaysia.
